General maintenance instructions for our LED line and area projectors.

Since our LED projectors are all „passively“ cooled (we use large heat sinks adapted to the output power), there are no moving, electromechanical parts (e.g. fans), so there are few problems due to dust are.

Depending on the dust generated in your hall or carried through the hall – in relation to the temperature at the installation point of the projector – you should remove dust from the projectors every now and then.

It should be noted at this point that queries about the presence of dust and the temperature at the installation point of the projectors before each customer order are „standard“.

The lifespan of an LED is approx. 40,000 hours (over 4 years), that of the driver even 190,000 hours. Changing the LED in the projector can be carried out by your own technicians, as the LEDs only are attached to the projector with a simple ribbon cable. Corresponding instructions are included with all projectors.

If you have high temperatures at the installation points of the projectors, clean the heat sinks from time to time to keep the lifespan of the LEDs long. Otherwise no special maintenance is necessary.

The working temperature of our projectors is -25 degrees to +45 degrees. (Adjustments possible!)
